This Privacy Policy applies to websites operated by REVERIE, including but not limited to http://reverieworld.com (the “Sites”). Further, this Privacy Policy applies to the use of our services, such as the Reverie Store, Reverie Forums and Reverie Accounts (the “Services”) and the use of our games or other products or applications (the “Games”). By accessing/using the Sites, Services or Games, you consent to Reverie´s collection, processing, storage and sharing of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the websites of other companies or organizations to which we, or a third party, may provide links to from our Sites or Services.

We may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any changes to the way we use your Personal Information we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on our Sites. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically.

“Personal Information” is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as by way of example only, your name, email address, billing address and credit card number.

Collection of Personal Information

By using our Sites, Games or Services, you agree and acknowledge that Reverie collects and processes Personal Information from you when i) purchasing goods and services from our stores; ii) registering for a Game or a Reverie account; iii) play our Games or use our Services, in particular when participating in games online; iv) entering a competition or similar event; v) signing up for play- and beta tests or send us a game pitch; vi) registering a complaint or withdrawal request; vii) registering to receive newsletters or other commercial messages from us; viii) in relation to customer service or technical support; ix) when visiting age-gated areas of our Sites; or x) any other exchange with Reverie that you initiate in relation to the use of our Sites, Services or Games.

When registering a Reverie Account through our Services, you will be required to enter your email address.

Purchasing a Game or Service requires you to submit additional Personal Information, such as a valid credit card number or Paypal account information and shipping address.

When you run a Game, Reverie may collect your SteamID, PSN ID, Reverie Account ID and/or any other such ID you use in relation to the Game. When you play our Games, Reverie collects information about your progress and activities in the Games.

We may also receive Personal Information about you, such as your name, email address, and shipping and billing address, if you have purchased a Game through one of our partners.

For Games that uses the Unity Engine, such as Stars End, Unity (https://unity3d.com/) is our service provider. Unity collects certain data in relation to the Game, as specified in Unity’s privacy policy (available at https://unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy).

Use of Personal Information

We, our subsidiaries, affiliates, and contractors upon instruction, may use Personal Information for the purpose i) to respond to inquiries or comments from you, ii) to verify the identity of users, iii) to maintain or administer your Reverie Account, including contacting you in order to update your Reverie Account details, iv) to maintain the security and integrity of the Site or Services and its data, v) to provide support to users, vi) to process transactions and to communicate with users regarding transactions made via the Service, Site or Game, vii) to administer and perform play- and beta tests which you have signed up for, viii) to improve and personalize the Sites, Services or Games, including via targeted advertising, ix) to provide users with Game or Service updates, x) to create reports, analyses or similar services for use by Reverie for the purposes of research and/or business intelligence, for example to track potential problems, behavior and/or trends with our Site, Services and Games, xi) to enforce our terms and conditions, such as our End User License Agreement, Terms of Use, and Rules of Conduct, and xii) such other use as otherwise required according to law.

If you choose to, your Personal Information may be used to send you newsletters, promotional notices or other offers of Services and Games which may be of interest to you.

Reverie only shares your Personal Information with third parties

  1. i) with your consent (including as may be set out in this Privacy Policy); ii) when required to do so in order to process or fulfill a request made by you, such as a purchase or support ticket, and we may therefore allow third parties to access and use Personal Information, but only as necessary in order to perform services under contract with us, such as distributing newsletters, processing orders or payments, ship Games to you, or other fulfillment services, iii) when working with marketing partners or social media sites to match your Personal Information with information you have provided to such third party, in order to bring you more relevant advertising content, or iv) when your Personal Information has been anonymized and aggregated.

We will not use Personal Information for any purpose that is inconsistent with the purpose for which the data was originally collected.

Reverie may release Personal Information when required to do so by court order or otherwise according to law.

Your Personal Information may be transferred to the successor or assignee of Reverie in the event of a merger, reorganization, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other similar event.

Control and change of Personal Information

You may unsubscribe to newsletters by following the instructions in the newsletter you receive. Our newsletters contains mechanisms which allow you to opt-out from receiving further newsletters from us.

If you wish to review, change or correct your Personal Information, or would like your Personal Information removed from our records or otherwise deactivated, please contact us at support@reverieworld.com and write “Privacy Policy” in the subject line. Reverie may decline requests that are unreasonably repetitive or require disproportionate technical effort to resolve.

If you have created a Reverie Account, you can access and change some or all Personal Information you have shared with us by logging in to your Reverie account at https://accounts.Reverieplaza.com

Some of our Sites, Services and Games provide chats, forums or other means of messaging between users. We encourage you to be careful when sharing Personal Information with other users who may be unknown to you. Reverie is not responsible for such Personal Information which you make available to third parties.

Reverie will NEVER ask for your password to be sent separately or in clear text. Anyone doing so is probably trying to steal your stuff.

When you chose a forum name or other nickname for our Services or Games, we ask that you do not use your own or another person´s real name, or a name protected by copyright or trademark.

Storage of Personal Information

Reverie will only store your Personal Information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We may continue to store your Personal Information after we have ceased providing the Site, Service or Game to you if such storage of your Personal Information is necessary to comply with legal obligations, or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or to enforce agreement we may have with you, including this Privacy Policy and or Terms of Use, but no longer than fifteen years from collection.

Your Personal Information may be transferred and stored outside of the European Union, or the European Economic Area, in a country which does not provide adequate level of protection for Personal Information in the meaning of Directive 95/46 of October 24th 1995.

Reverie maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to help guard Personal Information. If transactions are offered on the Site, transaction information is transmitted to and from the Site in encrypted form using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections to help protect such information from interception. Reverie restricts authorized access to your Personal Information to those persons who have a legitimate purpose to access it. Reverie also has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control (e.g., verification of Site user’s identity through username and password). Please be aware, however, that any e-mail or other transmission you send through the Internet cannot be completely protected against unauthorized interception, and it is your sole responsibility to protect the secrecy of your password. Reverie does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. Reverie strongly recommends parents or guardians to instruct their children to not disclose any Personal Information when online.   1. Cookies and similar technology

Reverie uses cookies and pixel tags to collect information about visitors of the Site. Pixel tags are invisible tags placed on certain pages of our Site but, unlike cookies, not on your computer. A pixel tag triggers a cookie when you visit a Site. A cookie is a small piece of data sent from the Site to your web browser, and may be stored on your computer´s hard drive.
